About Ken Gardner

Ken Gardner is a Vancouver-based entrepreneur and researcher with a longstanding interest in healthy aging, practical technology, and improving life after 45. After an ischemic stroke became a personal wake-up call, he created Fruitful Years to translate longevity research into realistic, affordable actions people can apply in everyday life. Ken and his wife, Yvonne, also explore many of these ideas personally, giving his work a practical, experience-informed perspective.

Fruitful Years was created by Ken Gardner to share clear, practical, evidence-informed information about healthy aging, longevity, and active later-life planning. The site is designed for adults who want to understand what the research suggests, make realistic choices, and maintain vitality, independence, and connection as they age.

Our Approach

Fruitful Years focuses on practical healthy-aging habits that fit real life. We do not promise longer life, younger biological age, or quick fixes. We aim to make longevity research easier to understand and easier to discuss with a qualified clinician when needed.

The site covers strength, sleep, nutrition, movement, mobility, metabolic health, social connection, and clinician-ready health numbers. No hype, no miracle cures — just clear information for adults who want to make informed choices.

What Fruitful Years Is — and Is Not

Fruitful Years provides general educational information only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The goal is to help readers ask better questions, understand basic healthy-aging concepts, and discuss personal decisions with a qualified clinician.
