The seven ideas

Make meals work for you

Notice what makes a satisfying meal. Follow any individual nutrition advice.

Choose familiar movement

Adapt an activity you enjoy to your current abilities and care advice.

Make room for variety

Choose a food you enjoy and can afford; consider adding variety to a meal.

Create a small pause

Take a quiet break, listen to music or make time for a calming routine.

Return to something meaningful

Make a little room for a hobby, learning, helping or creating.

Reach out in a way that fits

For a practical example of the connection idea, read the guide to one repeatable social contact.

A call, message or shared activity can be a starting point.

Ask for support

Bring a concern about smoking, alcohol or another habit to a qualified professional.

Make the card yours

Circle one idea. Write “My one choice” and “My easier version” at the bottom. Put it somewhere useful, or keep it privately. Skip any idea that does not suit you.

Example: My choice is calling a friend on Tuesday. My easier version is sending a short voice message.

Turn your choice into a two-week plan with a backup and a review. Or browse the practical resource hub.
